Couldn’t get into B Spot (it’s in a casino, I’m 19, long story) so I was extremely disappointed!!! I even bought a special shirt for the occasion, and then it turned out to be a waste of money. My mom thinks we should go in Detroit, but idk if I even want to now.
Anyway, we ended up instead having lunch at Lola-Chef Symon’s first restaurant. This is what I ordered-a roast turkey sandwich. It’s pressed, and had arugula, cheese and some type of sauce. It was just okay-the panini was nice and crunchy but there was something on the sandwich I didn’t like. I think it might have been the sauce, or the sourdough bread. The turkey was cooked really well though. Turkey for me is always dry, and should only be eaten once a year. The Lola fries were quite nice! They’re cut really thin, and seasoned with rosemary and sea salt, which makes them feel fancier than traditional fast food fries.
I still would have rather had a Thin Lizzy, but I guess it just sucks being 19. Do you think I should go to B Spot in Detroit?
